Spiders

One of my uncles found this during our visit out to my grandparents in New Mexico. I was a little too scared to get close with my macro lens so I tried shooting it on my iPhone.

These were all over the lamb's ear plant in the front yard. Whenever we get a lot of April / May rain, these spiders show up everywhere.

This guy was posing on our lamb's ear out front. When we get a lot of rain, these spiders are everywhere. I don't think the female in the background is very impressed.

Probably my favorite picture ever. This female Striped Lynx spider had just landed on this stick. It had jumped from somewhere using its web as a dragline.

A barn spider (southern, N. Crucifera) guarding our front door. Mostly they like to live in trees but if there are a lot of them they will make their webs on the roof of the house.
